Sky science test moved to Thursday! Please study your notes to be ready for the test.

Transformations quiz Wednesday.

Today in room 16:

We started our morning with an appreciation circle to talk about some sad news we received over the weekend. I gave students a chance to share their feelings and discuss the week.

In math today did some tricky multiple choice questions to prep for our test on Wednesday. Students will need to understand how to rotate, reflect and translate triangles and polygons on a grid. I will attach some extra practice below.

After math I gave the students an hour to prep and plan their stories. We are starting the story writing this week and I want all students to have a plan before they start writing.

Students must write with our graphic organizer that has them plan out:

Characters

Setting

Conflict Resolution

An Inciting incident to start the story

3 events

Climax

Falling action

After LA we moved into science and started our presentations. This will be combined with review this week to study for the test.

In the afternoon we had a presentation from Save On Foods to describe how to go shopping and explore the healthy foods our body needs.

Hope everyone has a great evening!

Mr Lancee
