Happy Friday October 1, 2021!
Reminders:
- Return classroom contract ASAP PLEASE!
- Return updated digital citizenship form ASAP. Your child cannot use the computers or tech in the school otherwise.
- Large packet of forms sent home! Please read and return all required forms ASAP
- -Some were resent home again today to be signed
- Vaccination forms were sent home on Thursday and today. Please sign and return them ASAP

- October 29 - Pillars of Care Assembly
We started our morning by writing our notes of care to another class mate. It is a wonderful to start our day in a positive way! Students then reflected on our pillar of the month and wrote "Respect is..." and someone they respect.
We then had our first Pillars of Care assembly for the 2021/2022 school year. We acknowledged the land, heard from Ms Austin and Mr Hebert, announced the pillar winners for each room and grade and found out we have new awards coming for next month!
After the assembly we had time take our class photos and cut them into picture frames for the walls of our classroom. These picture frames are hung next to student work and art that we complete in class.
After snack and CNN10 I had the students write a letter to an individual that attended a residential school. We talked about what you might say to this person after everything we learned about the last two days.
We finished off our morning with Mathletics on laptops, music and gym outside.
